After 29 days we fasting, and the moment we've been waiting for are here.....it's RAYA time....yeaaahhh. What uniquely about 2011 RAYA are it is placed between the working days. So a lot of people taking this advantage to have very long RAYA leave, and that's including me. As I can see there's a lot of people attacking the malls 1 week before raya to buy new clothes, maybe the bonus that the goverment had given to the civil servants encouraging them to shopping more and do better preparation for the Raya. Thankfully that I work at Penang, there's no congested traffic jam on my way heading to Seremban. Pity for those who heading up north and east coast because they have to facing massive traffic jam heading back home recently.
Many of the people using this Raya festival as opportunity to hangout with ol'friends, visiting relatives and also most important for children are collecting 'duit raya'. Also in Hari Raya we can enjoy traditional malay cuisine like ketupat, lemang, lontong, rendang, dodol and others as well.
